Cross, MCLA down Fisher 67-55 in non-conference action
On the coldest night of the year, Fisher College shot just 29 percent from the floor and fell to the MCLA Trailblazers 67-55 Wednesday night in Lynn, MA. The Falcons trailed by three at half time, but second half shooting woes proved costly as they fell to 2-15 on the season.

Daemen downs Fisher in Daemen Classic Opener
AMHERST, NY - Freshman Gerald Beverly (Rochester, NY) was 7-for-8 from the field to lead Daemen (7-5, 1-0 AMC) to an 86-51 triumph in their American Mideast Conference opener as part of the Daemen Holiday Classic. Fisher, meanwhile, falls to 2-13 overall and 0-6 in the conference.

Cavs control game early, beat Falcons 99-53 in American Mideast contest
Walsh led from start-to-finish in dealing Fisher College a 99-53 setback in American Mideast Conference action on Saturday afternoon in the second game of the Hoops 4 Healing Classic at Alumni Arena. The Cavs improve to 6-1 overall and 2-0 in the AMC, while the Falcons fall to 2-11 overall and remain winless in the conference with a 0-4 record.

Falcons fall to Bates in final home game of 2011
The Fisher Falcons closed out their 2011 home schedule with a 74-65 loss to the Bates College Bobcats Wednesday night in Lynn, MA. The loss was the fourth consecutive defeat for the Falcons who fall to 2-10 on the young season. Bates improves to 4 -2 on the year. Norford led the Falcons on the night with 13 points, 10 rebounds and 3 assists, for his 9th double-double in 12 games this year.

Norford Named Athlete of the Month
Dennis Norford has been named Athlete of the Month for December. The New Haven, CT senior is being recognized with this honor for becoming the sixth student-athlete in Fisher College Men's Basketball history to surpass the 1000 point barrier for his career.

Fisher Falls To Colby For The 2nd Time This Week
en Foreman (Los Angeles, Calif.) had 26 points to lead the Colby College men's basketball team to a 71-65 victory over Fisher College on Sunday at Whitmore-Mitchell Court at Wadsworth Gymnasium. Ryan McCorkle (Bellevue, Wash.) had a team-high 17 points for Fisher.

Vazquez, Westfield Run Past Falcons Despite Norfords 1000th Point
WESTFIELD, MA. – Senior Dennis Norford (West Haven, CT) notched his 1000th career point but it wasn’t enough as Westfield State junior guard Lee Vazquez’s 31 points, eight rebounds and eight steals and junior center Matt Devine 19 points, 11 rebounds and seven blocks powered Westfield State University to an 80-66 victory over Fisher College in its home opener on Tuesday, Nov. 22.

Men's Basketball Team Coach Dave Lindberg has announced the 2011-2012 Men's Basketball schedule. After winning four Sunrise Conference championships in the past six seasons, the Fisher College Men’s Basketball team looks to continue their success as they join the American Mideast Conference this season.
