Director of Athletics Scott Dulin Highlighted in Van Loan School GPS Spotlight

Scott Dulin

Head Coach Scott Dulin is entering his eleventh year at Fisher College as the Director of Athletics and Head Baseball Coach. Dulin has been at the helm of the Fisher College Department of Athletics since its inception in 2001. For the sixth straight seasons (2004-2009), Dulin was named the Sunrise Conference Baseball Coach of the Year. Additionally, he was named the NAIA Region X Baseball Coach of the Year for five consecutive seasons (2004-2008), and was named the 2007 recipient of the NAIA Region X Coach of Character Award. In 2005 and in 2011, Dulin was named the Sunrise Conference Athletic Director of the Year, and was inducted into the 2005 Fisher College Hall of Fame class. Coach Dulin has coached numerous All Conference and All Region Players, four Rookies of the Year, five Players of the Year, and has seen one of his players receive a professional contract in 2008 and another be drafted by the Atlanta Braves in 2011.  In the first ten years of Fisher College Athletics, the varsity teams have combined for 12 Sunrise Conference titles, have had nationally ranked teams, and participation numbers have tripled from that first year to present day.

Before beginning the Athletics and Baseball programs at Fisher College, Dulin was the Head Coach and Assistant Athletics Director at Massachusetts College of Pharmacy for two years. Prior to that, he was an Assistant Coach at his alma mater University of Maine at Farmington. Coach Dulin holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from UMF, where he was a 4 year starter in the infield and a two time captain. In 2004, Dulin was named as an Envoy to Costa Rica while working for Major League Baseball International where he taught the game of baseball to some and introduced it to others.  In 2011, Coach Dulin was awarded a Masters of Education with a concentration in Athletic Administration from Endicott College.  

Scott and his wife Kara, have been married for 5 years and reside in Methuen, MA.  When Scott is not on the field or at the college, he and Kara are usually out discovering different parts of the world.  They have traveled to Singapore, Vietnam, Thailand, Egypt, Tunisia, Maldives, Costa Rica and parts of Europe.
