BOSTON, MASS. – Director of Athletics Scott Dulin named Eric Ferguson the next Head Coach of Fisher Women's Basketball on Monday afternoon. Ferguson brings nearly a decade of coaching experience across the high school, AAU, and player development levels in addition to a proven track record of building successful programs to Beacon Street.
"I am honored and grateful for the opportunity to lead the Fisher College Women's Basketball program." Ferguson said. "I want to thank the administration for their trust and belief in me. I look forward to building meaningful relationships with our student-athletes, creating a culture of growth, accountability, excellence, and competing while representing Fisher College with pride."
Ferguson previously served as the Head Coach for the Girls Basketball program at Pioneer Charter School of Science, where he oversaw the program from grades 5-12. Under his guidance, the program earned multiple league championships while fostering a culture centered on player development. He was also recognized as the MCSAO (Massachusetts Charter School Athletics Organization) Girls Basketball North Division Coach of the Year on multiple occasions.
Known for his commitment to developing the complete student-athlete, Ferguson has extensive experience in recruiting, skill-development, leadership training, film analysis, and building positive team cultures. His background includes directing youth development programs, mentoring coaches, and helping student-athletes reach their full potential both on and off the court.

Ferguson holds certifications as an NFHS Certified Interscholastic Coach, MIAA Certified Coach, USA Basketball Coach and has completed extensive coaching education through PGC Basketball. His coaching philosophy is simple – emphasize continuous growth, strong relationships, and empowering student-athletes to become the best version of themselves.
A Boston, Massachusetts area native, Ferguson resides in Winthrop where he is also the owner of "The Hive Athletics" – which offers basketball skill sessions, private/group lessons, and team training in the Greater Boston area.
