USCB completes opening day sweep of Fisher

For the second time this season the Falcons had a perfect game thrown against them, this time Caroline Pastre accomplished the feat after recording 13 strikeouts.    The visiting Falcons fell to 0-2 on the young season after an lopsided 34-0 defeat to the Sand Sharks.

USCB scored 24 runs in the first inning and eight in the second before easing to pressure on the Falcons in the later innings.  The host had 37 hits on the day, and each player had at least one.  Although giving up 24 runs, only six runs were earned as the woes continued for the Falcons.  Fisher committed seven errors in the second game of the double-header, one more than in the previous game.

Senior Brittney Calderon recorded one strikeout in loss, as she fell to 0-2 on the season.
