Fisher's errors prove costly against USCB

A day after back to back perfect games, the Falcons softball team did a little better but were still swept by the USCB Sand Sharks to close out the four game series.  Fisher fell to the host 18-0 in the first game before falling 14-0 in the second. 

USCB scored in every inning, recording 18 runs, 13 of which were earned on 20 hits. The Falcons, one day removed from going hitless recorded two hits, both by sophomore Amanda Colon. The Falcons defensive issues continued as the committed six more errors.

Brittney Calderon took the lost for the Falcons as Fisher fell to 0-3 on the year.

In game two of the double header the USCB Sand Sharks completed the four game sweep with a 14-0 victory over the Falcons. Junior Kaleigh Gilbert gave up three earned runs but five Fisher errors led to 14 runs for the hosts on 15 hits. USCB scored in every inning, and the Falcons managed only one hit. Sophomore Demi Bourous was the lone Falcon to record a hit.

Fisher returns to action March 4th when they host New England College.
