Director of Athletics Scott Dulin has announced the hiring of Jackie Streeter as the Interim Head Softball Coach for the 2012 season.
Jackie Streeter enters her first season as the Interim Head Softball Coach two years removed from completing one of the best athletic careers Fisher College has seen. A 2010 Fisher College graduate with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Streeter was a three-sport athlete for the Falcons. She was a three year starter for Fisher's soccer and basketball team as well as a four year starter on the softball team.
During her first season at Fisher, Streeter was named Sunrise Conference Freshman of the Year. As a sophomore she batted .469 and was named the Conference Player of the Year and a First Team All-Conference nominee.
Her junior year, her best at Fisher, Streeter finished the year with a .577 batting average, ranking her number 1 in the NAIA. In addition to her First Team All-Conference and Player of the year awards, Coach Streeter was named to the National Fastpitch Coaches Association Second Team All-Region.
During her senior year, Street hit .425, again earning Player of the year and All-Conference awards.
Upon her completion of her athletic career, Coach Streeter was presented with The Division of Athletics Award for her dedication towards the Athletic Program at Fisher College.
