LAWRENCEVILLE, GA. – The 2025-26 Fisher College Men's Basketball season came to an abrupt end this afternoon as the fifth-seeded Falcons fell to tournament host and top seed, Georgia Gwinnett College, 107-78 at the 2026 Continental Athletic Conference Tournament Semifinals. The loss wraps up the 17-12 campaign for Fisher while the Grizzlies advance to the CAC Championship Game tomorrow afternoon and claim one of the two automatic bids to the NAIA National Tournament.

Fisher was able to keep up with the relentless offensive attack from Georgia Gwinnet through out the first half as they trailed by nine points after the first 20 mins of action. However, the Grizzlies netted 58 second half points to pull away and capture the victory.

Senior Allen Lattimore (Dayton, Ohio) led all scorers with a 23-point performance while classmates Justin Covington (New Haven, Conn.) and Amari Jamison (Boston, Mass.) finished the afternoon with 12 points each. Freshman Anthony Saunders (Alexandria, Va.) collected the team-high of eight rebounds while senior Anthony Douglas Jr. (East Hartford, Conn.) contributed seven points in the loss.

Georgia Gwinnett (27-5) was paced by Mario Hill Jr., who was one of seven Grizzlies to reach double-digits in scoring. Hill Jr. finished with a team-high 17 points while Brasen James and Manny Montgomery added 16 and 15 points, respectively. Patrick Johnson finished his short afternoon with the game's only double-double as he recorded 12 points and the game-high 10 rebounds.

Georgia Gwinnet now awaits the winner of the other semifinal featuring second-seeded Arkansas Baptist and sixth-seeded Florida College. The CAC Championship Game is slated for 4pm tomorrow afternoon.
