Men's Basketball: Falcons win third straight, top Rivier 85-81

BROOKLINE, MASS. – The Fisher College Men's Basketball team pulled out a hard-fought 85-81 victory over Rivier University, improving their record to 3-4, while the Raiders drop to 6-2 on the season.

Junior Amari Jamison (Boston, Mass.) and Senior Ke'Andre Penceal (Coram, N.Y.) led the Falcons in scoring, each contributing 15 points. Junior Ezekiel Edwards (Ettrick, Va.) dominated the boards, pulling down a game-high 14 rebounds. Sophomore Tyrek Simmons (Boston, Mass.) also had a strong outing, grabbing 10 rebounds, while junior Isaiah Quinteros (Miami, Fla.) added 14 points to round out the key contributors.

For Rivier, graduate student Kyler Bosse (Manchester, N.H.) was the top performer, scoring 23 points and pulling down 10 rebounds. Senior Odarius Cade (Anderson, S.C.) chipped in with 19 points, and graduate student Joey Merrill (Derry, N.H.) added 16 points and 8 rebounds, but it wasn't enough for the Raiders to overcome the Falcons.

Fisher will return to action at home on December 5th when they face Bryant & Stratton (Syracuse) at 7 p.m. Rivier will travel to Salem State University for a matchup on December 5th, with a 6 p.m. tip-off.
