BUFFALO, N.Y. – The Fisher College Men's Basketball team faced another tough loss, this time against Bryant & Stratton (Buffalo), with a final score of 89-72. The Falcons now hold a 0-3 record, while the Bobcats improve to 2-0.
Sophomore Tyrek Simmons (Boston, Mass.) led Fisher with an overall performance totalling 18 points and 12 rebounds, playing 28 minutes. Senior Ke'Andre Penceal (Coram, N.Y.) contributed 12 points and 8 rebounds, while junior Anthony Douglas Jr. (East Hartford, Conn.) added 12 points of his own.
Bryant & Stratton (Buffalo) was led by junior Nashton Sylvester (Smyrna, Del.), who scored 22 points in 37 minutes of action. Junior Phil Jones Jr. (Buffalo, N.Y.) and junior Taveon Orr (Detroit, Mich.) each pulled down 8 rebounds. Zy Clemons also had an impactful performance, contributing 17 points.
The Falcons will look to bounce back when they travel to Regis College on Friday, Nov. 15, with a 5 p.m. start. Bryant & Stratton (Buffalo) will host Cheyney College on Saturday, Nov. 9, at 4 p.m.
