LAWRENCEVILLE, GA. – The Continental Athletic Conference announced earlier today the 2025 Men's Basketball All-Conference teams and major award winners. Three Fisher Falcons received the all-conference honors with a first-team, second-team, and Champions of Character selections. Junior Anthony Douglas Jr. (East Hartford, Conn.) was chosen as the conference's co-Defensive Player of the Year as voted on by the league's head coaches.
Douglas becomes the first member of the Men's Basketball program to receive a major end of the season award from the CAC. He is also the first Falcons since Brandon Rembert was tabbed co-Defensive Player of the Year in 2018.
The Connecticut native averaged 10.9 points and 5.6 rebounds per game, along with having 40 steals and 90 assists for the regular season. He started 20 of the 23 games he appeared in this winter while averaging 7.3 rebounds in eight games against CAC opponents. Douglas Jr. was selected to the CAC All-Conference Second Team for his efforts.
Senior Ke'Andre Penceal (Coram, N.Y.) capped his four-year career in the blue-and-white with the first All-Conference First-Team selection. The veteran guard was the team leader in several categories including points per game (17.6), minutes per game (31.9) and total points (439). Penceal is fourth on the all-time career scoring leaders for the Falcons with 1,741 points and counting. This is the third time that he has received post-season honors as he was a second team selection a season ago and an honorable mention after his freshman season in 2022.
Junior Carlos Diaz (Gurabo, Puerto Rico) was chosen as the team's representative on the conference's Champions of Character team. Diaz has proven all season that he is the best representative of the NAIA's CoC five core values of Integrity, Respect, Responsibility, Sportsmanship and Servant Leadership. Douglas Jr., Penceal, Diaz and the rest of the Falcons are entering the 2025 CAC Post-Season Tournament as the 4th seed and are set to battle No. 5 Northern New Mexico College tomorrow evening at 6pm (EST). Live video can be found here.
