Falcons conquer Patriots 103-64

Lynn, Mass.-  Tyler Shular (Norwalk, Conn.) had a stellar performance Friday evening against the University of Valley Forge scoring a game-high 39 points and grabbing eight rebounds in an NAIA-USCAA cross matchup. 

The Falcons soar to 13th win on the season (13-8) while the Patriots fall to 3-14.

Three Falcons reached double figure scoring including Shular with his 39 points on 12-of-18 shooting.  Malik Wilson (St. Louis Park, Minn.) and Kyle Holmes (Hamden, Conn.) were the only other two Falcons reaching double digits with 15 and 11 points respectively.

Fisher held a 47-33 halftime lead before outscoring UVF 56-31 in the second half in route to the convincing conquest.  The Falcons finished 39-of-64 (60.9%) from the floor and 10-of-23 (43.5%) from behind the arc.  Fisher also went 15-of-23 (65.2%) from the free throw line.

The Falcons will return to action Saturday, January 30 when they travel to Pine Manor College in Chestnut Hill, Mass. to take on SUNY Canton at 3:30 p.m.  The University of Valley Forge will also be in Chestnut Hill Saturday afternoon to take on the Gators of Pine Manor at 1:30 p.m.
