  • Morency Named to 2nd Team; Rewrites the Record Books

    Boston, MA - Sophomore goalkeeper Deanna Morency was awarded All-American Mideast Conference 2nd Team honors; it was announced today by the Commissioner’s office. Despite playing only eight games in goal for Falcons due to injury, Morency was able to set a school record with 140 saves on the season. Deanna finished the regular season ranked 12th in NAIA Division I in total saves.

    It was a celebratory Senior Day for the Daemen Wildcats this afternoon as their five seniors accounted for all nine goals in Daemen's 9-0 shutout of the visiting Fisher Falcons, wrapping up the program's first-ever American Mideast Conference Regular Season Championship.
  • Fisher Goalkeepers Make History

    The 2011 Men’s and Women’s soccer season came to an end over the weekend but not before two records were broken. Men’s junior keeper John Del Valle set a new all-time saves record for a single season and career. His 226 saves surpassed the previous records held by Greg Jackson when he was able to stop 202 shots in 2008. Sophomore goalie Deanna Morency recorded 140 saves on the season to top the single season and career mark of 133 set by Mellissa Holloman in 2008. Morency averaged 17. 5 saves per game over the course of the season even though an injury limited her to 8 games in goal.

    Houghton NY- Houghton women’s soccer team finished the season strong Friday night defeating visiting Fisher College with a score of 10-0. On a cold fall night the Highlanders were too much for the outnumbered Falcons.

    Boston, MA - Winthrop High's Andrea Martucci (Winthrop, MA) has decided to attend Fisher College in the fall. The senior defensemen signed her letter of intent to play soccer for the Lady Falcons under second year Head Coach Anthony Perry.

  • UMPI Completes Season Sweep of Fisher on Senior Day

    The University of Maine- Presque Isle Owls completed the season sweep of Fisher College Saturday afternoon at Lawrence Memorial Stadium. Two weeks ago the Falcons fell to UMPI 14-0 but this time around the scorer was a lot closer. In what could be said was their best game of the season, the Falcons lost 3-0 on the day.

    Boston, MA - The Fisher Falcons women’s soccer team lost their opening game of the season this afternoon to Daemen College by a score of 8-0. Daemen College used a spread out attack to pick apart the Falcons as seven different Wildcats found the back of the net.
  • Fisher College unveils 2011 Season Schedule for Women’s Soccer

    Boston, MA – New Head Coach Bill Maddock has announced the 2011 schedule for the Women’s soccer program. The Falcons will compete in the American Mid-East Conference for the first time this season after previously competing in the Sunrise Conference. Led by returning four year starter Katie Ernest (Blackstone, MA) and a strong incoming class, the Fisher Falcons play seven of the first eight games against American Mid-East opponents.
