Victoria, TX -- The schedule for the 2013 Association of Independent Institutions Conference Baseball Championships will have three games slated each day at Riverside Stadium when the tournament swings into action on Wednesday, May 1.

The No. 4 and 5 seeds will open tournament play at 10 a.m. on May 1, with the No. 2 and No. 3 seeds going head-to-head at 1:30 p.m. The first day of action will conclude with the winner of the opening game facing the top seed in a 5 p.m. matchup.

Action will resume May 2 with a loser's bracket game at 9 a.m., followed by a winner's bracket game at 12:30 p.m. before concluding with another loser's bracket game at 4 p.m.

Championship day on May 3 will bring at least two games to the schedule with the Game 6 winner meeting the Game 5 loser at 9 a.m. for a right to advance to the 12:30 p.m. championship game against an undefeated winner's bracket opponent. Should a second game be needed to decide the winner, that game will be held 30 minutes after the conclusion of the first championship game.

Saturday, May 4 will be used as a weather date

The field for the tournament will include California State University-San Marcos, LSU-Alexandria, Fisher College, Ashford University and host University of Houston-Victoria.
