Boston, MA- For the second time this spring a Falcon has been chosen as an A.I.I. Player Of The Week. Junior first baseman, Mitchell Lundholm, was chosen for his play over the team's Spring Break trip. In seven games this week, the Plymouth Mass., native was the most productive Falcon at the plate, batting .500 (14 for 28) while adding 15 RBI's, eight runs scored, two doubles and a HR. In the last doubleheader against the University of Northwestern Ohio Racers, Lundholm went on a tear, batting .500 (5 for 10) while adding six RBI's and a double, leading his team to the sweep to end the week with a 3-4 record. He is also currently in a 6-game hitting streak while collecting at least two hits over that stretch, including back-to-back three-hit performances against the Racers and the #11 ranked Cumberland Patriots. He leads the Falcons in the majority of hitting categories and is batting .450 this season.
