Franklin, Mass. -- Fisher College traveled to Franklin, Mass. to take on the Bulldogs of Dean College on Saturday, October 1 in an NCAA-NAIA match-up. The Falcons couldn't overpower the Bulldogs and dropped the contest 6-1.
Fisher College gave the undefeated Bulldogs all they could handle in the first half, but Dean eventually pulled away with a 6-1 victory. Dean scored midway through the first half for a 1-0 lead, but Fisher tied the game ten minutes later. It was the first goal given up by the team all year.
Dean scored again in the first half to take a 2-1 lead into halftime and scored 4 unanswered goals in the second half for their tenth straight win.
Fisher College will return to action on Tuesday, October 4 as they take on former Fisher College Coach Bill Maddock and the Nighthawks of Newbury College. The match will be held at Hormel Stadium, but Newbury is acting as the home team. First kick will be at 6:00 p.m.
