Ryan McCorkle Named to A.I.I. All-Conference Second Team

Boston, MA -- Senior Ryan McCorkle was the lone postseason award winner for the Fisher Falcons Men's Basketball program.  The 6'4" forward was recently named to by A.I.I All-Conference second team.

The Bellevue, WA native led the Falcons with 13.14 points per game (368 total) and 7.21 rebounds per game (202 total).  The Flacons finished the year with a record of 8-21

McCorkle spent the last two years with the Falcons after transfering from Skyline Community College in Skyline, Washington.

Joinging McCorkle on the all-conference second team were Monty Gordon and Yusuf Vinson of Dakota State, Rodney Coles and Brandon Jones of Northern New Mexico, Vesteinn Sveinsson of Ashford, Bennett Shaw of La Sierra, John Raquel of Valley City State, Darius Foster of Wilberforce and Steven Ivory of Mayville State.

Valley City State University's Sekani Milligen has been named the Association of Independent Institutions Division II Men's Basketball Conference Player of the Year, while Dakota State's Gary Garner has been named Coach of the Year..

Joining Milligen on the A.I.I. All-Conference first team were teammate Gus Kueber, along with Mark Hoge and Davon Thomas of Jamestown College, Dramell Hogan and Drew Maynard of Rochester College, Luke Lamb and John Lamb of Dakota State, DeAndre Lowery of Ashford University and Austin Emerson of Mayville State.
