Women's Basketball Makes A.I.I. Conference Tournament

Fisher College women's basketball team has qualified to compete in the 2018 Association of Independent Institutions Women's Basketball Championship Tournament, Feb. 23-25 at Indiana University Northwest in Gary, Ind., the league announced Monday, Feb. 5.  The Falcons qualified with a 15-9 record.  This is the first time the women's basketball program has qualified for the A.I.I. Conference Tournament.  

Fisher College (Mass.), Haskell Indian Nations University (Kan.), College of the Ozarks (Mo.), Stillman College (Ala.) and Washington Adventist University (Wash.) will join the host Indiana Northwest in competing for the league tournament championship. The winner will represent the A.I.I. in the NAIA national tournament.

Tournament seeds for the six teams will be announced Monday, Feb. 12.
